Keep ordinary configurations on Bazel-owned WMO and tools. Route static-library Preview metadata through Libtool, derive runtime planning from the selected SDK and target, and atomically replace generated responses. Clear stale responses on ordinary builds. Summary
Generate native Preview compile and link phases that consume the prepared link metadata and runtime policy, while preserving ordinary and indexing routes. Public activation is a separate change.
Stack / landing boundary
This diff uses an integration-only base combining #3363, #3366, and #3368. Do not merge into that base; land prerequisites on
main, then retarget/reconcile and validate this branch.Validation
Recorded root/generated-documentation, focused link-parameter, Buildifier, and whitespace checks cover the prior integration base and candidate. Hosted checks reported success on the published head in the 2026-10-08 snapshot. No Canvas render is claimed.
Testing
After retargeting, run
bazel test //tools/generators/pbxnativetargets:pbxnativetargets_testsand verify generated compile/link phases plus ordinary/indexing controls.
