Brief

Add predefined jobs for the newest GitHub runners: Windows Server 2025 with Visual Studio 2026 (windows-2025), Ubuntu 26.04 and the macOS 27 preview (xcode-27).

Overview

Job Compiler
windows-2025-x86_64-msvs-v142-release MSVC 14.29 (v142), the oldest toolset Visual Studio 2026 installs
windows-2025-x86_64-msvs-v145-debug MSVC 14.51 (v145)
windows-2025-x86-msvs-v145-release MSVC 14.51 (v145), 32-bit
windows-2025-x86_64-ninja-clang-20-release The runner image's standalone LLVM in C:/Program Files/LLVM (20.1.8)
ubuntu-26.04-armv8-ninja-gcc-15-debug GCC 15
ubuntu-26.04-x86_64-ninja-clang-22-release Clang 22
macos-27-armv8-ninja-appleclang-21-release AppleClang 21 from Xcode 27.0

Ubuntu 26.04 no longer has the libmono-system-* packages; the same assemblies come from mono-libraries, so the 26.04 configs install mono-runtime, mono-libraries and jq by default.

The macOS 27 runner is labelled xcode-27, so the vcpkg triplet lookup maps the xcode runner prefix to osx.

The existing jobs generate the same matrix and presets as before.

Windows 11 ARM job fails because of GitHub updated Visual Studio. It is fixed in PR #16
