…r map Replace the OPS243 UART wiring diagram with a build that has no sound trigger: the OPS243 is drawn upside down with its J3 pins pointing up and the micro-USB to their left, the Pi 5 is rotated so its USB ports face up, and the J3 pin 1 detection output runs to Pi pin 12 (GPIO18). Add a Pi 5 GPIO header map for the same build: OPS243, LIS3DH, display power, the Geekworm X1202 pogo pins, and the CAM/DISP ribbon connectors. Add a diagram of the IWR6843LEVM's six-lever S1 DIP switch as it reads on the board (ON printed along the top edge by the solder legs, levers 1-6 left to right), with the flashing and functional settings one above the other. Only S1.1 changes; S1.6 is unused; RESET is the S2 push button. The flashing guide shows it in step 2 and points back to it in step 5. Rotate the S1 boot switch diagram 180 degrees to match the board as seen in the case: levers 6 to 1 left to right, S1.1 at the right end, and the ON print with the solder legs along the bottom, so down is on. Text stays upright. The flashing guide's alt text and caption follow. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01MVm7Tmc6mv2Hd99ubcGeua
Draw what the switch body says, upside down as it reads on the mounted board: lever numbers 6 to 1 along the top, CTS, 15 and ON along the edge by the solder legs, plus the board's S1 silkscreen, so a reader can match the drawing to the part. The flashing guide's alt text and caption describe the markings. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01MVm7Tmc6mv2Hd99ubcGeua
…he alert output - Split pi5-gpio-header-map.svg so each image shows one thing: the 40-pin header, a new ops243-j3-header.svg (J3 from the front) and a new pi5-ribbon-connectors.svg. - Ribbon connectors: the Touch Display 2 runs on CAM/DISP 0 (auto detected) and the camera on CAM/DISP 1 (dtoverlay=ov9281,cam1); the previous drawing had them the other way round. - Call J3 pin 1 the alert output (P4.0_GPIO, AN-010-AE), not a detection output, in the diagrams, alt text and the J3 table, and explain that with no alert set it marks the OPS trigger and capture end. - Wiring diagram: add the SEN-14262 as documented for this trigger path: VCC to Pi pin 1 (3.3V), GND to Pi pin 9, GATE spliced three ways to J3 pin 3 (HOST_INT) and Pi pin 11 (GPIO17). Remove the J3 pin 1 to Pi pin 12 lead, which is a build-specific extra rather than part of the documented wiring. - Header map: SEN-14262 on pins 1, 9 and 11; pin 12 free. - J3 header: pin 3 takes the SEN GATE; pin 1 stays open. - Ribbon connectors: CAM/DISP 0 is the connector nearer the USB ports (display), CAM/DISP 1 the lower one (camera, dtoverlay=ov9281,cam1). - ops243-uart.md: alt text, the J3 table and the caption follow. …gram Show CAM/DISP 1 and 0 where they sit on the Pi 5 in the wiring diagram, so the board can be oriented by them, instead of a separate connector image: CAM/DISP 1, nearer the USB ports, takes the camera (dtoverlay=ov9281,cam1); CAM/DISP 0, below it, the Touch Display 2. Remove pi5-ribbon-connectors.svg and its section; the caption carries the config line. Co-authored-by: HuggeK <48095810+HuggeK@users.noreply.github.com>

What does this PR do?
Redraws the OPS243 GPIO-UART wiring for the case layout, splits the header documentation into three diagrams, and adds a diagram for the IWR6843 boot switch.
docs/assets/ops243-uart-wiring.svg, redrawn the way the parts sit in the case (OPS243 upside down with J3 pins up, Pi rotated with USB ports up):dtoverlay=ov9281,cam1); CAM/DISP 0, below it, takes the Touch Display 2.docs/assets/pi5-gpio-header-map.svg: the Pi 5 40-pin header (OPS243, SEN-14262, LIS3DH, display power, Geekworm X1202 pogo pins).docs/assets/ops243-j3-header.svg: the OPS243-A J3 header seen from the front, and which pins are wired.docs/build/ops243-uart.md: links the diagrams; the J3 table now shows pin 3's GATE splice to Pi 11; the caption says any 5V/GND pin works as long as all boards share one ground, and gives the camera'sconfig.txtline.docs/assets/iwr6843-s1-boot-switch.svg: the IWR6843LEVM S1 DIP switch as it faces you on the mounted board, upside-down markings included, with the flashing and functional settings. Only S1.1 changes. Shown in step 2 ofdocs/iwr6843/flashing.mdand referenced from step 5. A photo of the switch on a mounted board (docs/assets/iwr6843-s1-boot-switch-photo.jpg, metadata stripped) sits under it.Why was this required?
The existing UART diagram is drawn for a different board orientation than the case, which makes it hard to follow when wiring inside the enclosure. There was also no single map of every header pin and connector used in the full build (OPS243, sound trigger, LIS3DH, display, UPS, camera). The IWR flashing guide gives the S1 settings only as text, and the switch's printed markings read upside down on the mounted board, which makes S1.1 easy to misidentify.
SEN-14262 ground pin
The original diagram grounds the sound detector on Pi pin 6. In this case layout pin 6 carries the OPS243 ground and pin 14 the display ground, so the drawing uses pin 9. Any ground pin works, since all boards share one ground rail, and the caption says so.
Ribbon connectors: checked on the hardware
On the Pi 5 the Touch Display 2 runs on CAM/DISP 0, the lower connector:
display_auto_detectloadsvc4-kms-dsi-ili9881-7inchondsi@110000, the same RP1 MIPI blockov9281,cam0uses. With the camera configured ascam0it failed (ov9282 10-0060: fail to write MIPI_CTRL00,rp1-cfe … -EBUSY). Withdtoverlay=ov9281,cam1(camera on CAM/DISP 1, the connector nearer the USB ports) it enumerates oni2c@80000andrpicam-hello --list-cameraslists it. The wiring diagram labels both connectors on the Pi accordingly.Automated tests
Documentation and SVG only, so there's nothing executable to test. All SVGs parse as XML, and the docs build (
docs.yml) covers rendering and links.Manual (human) testing
<title>/<desc>and matching alt text in the Markdown.openflight_iwr6843_v1.0.3.bin: flashing mode and back to functional mode, S1.1 only./dev/ttyAMA0,rpicam-hello,dmesg, device tree).Scope note
This bundles two related doc changes, the OPS243/header wiring and the IWR6843 S1 switch diagram, because both came from the same build write-up. Happy to split them into separate PRs if preferred.
